Usage Areas; It is used for bonding and saturating carbon fiber reinforcement fabrics. It is used in the production of concrete, wood, metal, composite fiber lamination. It is used to adhere carbon / glass fiber (fibrous polymer) material to the surface. |
Application Details
Hayper CARBON X application should be started within 24 hours following the Hayper CARBON X application. Apply the material on the primed surfaces with a roller in a thickness of 0.8-1 mm.
While the material is still wet, fiber polymer fabrics cut in appropriate sizes should be adhered to the surface by stretching in the direction of their fibers. Then, by pressing the fiber polymer fabrics with a roller in the direction of their fibers, Hayper CARBON X should be absorbed into the fabric and no gap is left between the surface, the second layer of adhesive should be applied on the fiber polymer fabric adhered to the surface in the direction of its fibers. In multi-layer fiber polymer applications, 700 – 800 gr / m2 adhesive should be used between layers. In areas that will be exposed to sunlight, the material should be covered within 7 days at the latest after application. When fire resistance is required, it should be covered with special fire-resistant mortars in appropriate thickness.
In order to apply the plaster on it, after the top coat of Hayper CARBON X is applied, when Hayper CARBON X is still wet, grit sand should be sprinkled on the surfaces to be plastered, and roughness should be formed on the surface to facilitate the adhesion of the plaster.
Application Prohibitions
The application surface should be cleared of weakly adhered parts, cleaned of dust, oil, tar, bitumen, paint, silicone, curing agent, detergent and mold oils and should be rough to increase adhesion. If repairs are required on the surface, it should be repaired with the appropriate HAYPERFLEX repair mortar. If the application ground is concrete, it must be cured (28 days) and have a minimum pressure of 25 N / mm2 and a tensile strength of 1.5 N / mm2. The humidity of the floor concrete should be at most 4% and the floor temperature should be at least 3 ° C above the dew point.
